At 1:00pm, the focus will shift to stamina with The G.E. White & Sons Agricultural Buildings Handicap Steeple Chase (Class 4). Run over three miles, two furlongs, and 19 yards, the contest will carry prize money of £14,000 and place a clear emphasis on accurate jumping and endurance. Shantou Lucky, Jubilant, Morfee, Illegal d’Ainay, and All Authorized are among those set to line up.
Attention will return to hurdles at 1:30pm for The Maria & Nick’s Perfect Wedding Gift Maiden Hurdle Race (Class 4). Staged over two miles, four furlongs, and 217 yards, the race will feature Dr Waksman, Le Flying Ferret, Manigod, The Boss Bear, and Masked Mistress, all aiming to register their first success over obstacles. Prize money for the contest will stand at £9,099.
The mid-afternoon programme will continue at 2:00pm with The Become a Racehorse Owner at oldgoldracing.com Handicap Hurdle Race (Class 5). Contested over three miles, one furlong, and 130 yards, the race will include Enjoy d’Allen, San Pedro, Avada Kedavra, Drumheller, and Glengolly competing for £7,250.
At 2:30pm, The weatherbysshop.co.uk Handicap Steeple Chase (Class 5) will return the emphasis to fences over two miles, four furlongs, and one yard. Summer In Milan, Kitsilano, Birdman Bob, Lady Pretender, and Angel’s Dream are set to contest prize money of £9,950.
The Dawson Hart Solicitors Handicap Hurdle Race (Class 5) at 3:00pm will provide another competitive handicap over two miles, four furlongs, and 217 yards. Kool Kid, Golden Identity, Duhallow Tommy, Kill The Groove, Grand Conqueror, and El Arco will be among the runners vying for a share of the £7,250 purse.
The afternoon will conclude at 3:30pm with The Staddon Send-Off Mares’ Open National Hunt Flat Race (Class 5). Run over two miles, two furlongs, and 50 yards, the race will feature Approaching Storm, Flying Pimpernel, Joan’s Choice, Ledecka, Martha’s Cottage, and Pure Ocean, competing for £4,999 and offering an opportunity for emerging mares to gain valuable racecourse experience.
