From the break, the field settled into a genuine rhythm, with Light The World positioned to strike without being forced early. Hasib Alam allowed his mount to travel smoothly before asking for an effort approaching the final furlong. The response was immediate, as Light The World quickened smartly, taking command and maintaining momentum all the way to the line to seal the verdict with authority.
Into The Storm finished second, clocking 1:13.692, with M S Deora in the saddle for trainer B Mahesh, staying on resolutely once the winner had kicked clear. Close behind, Cash Your Luck claimed third in 1:13.856, ridden by Vishal N Bunde and prepared by Sabeel Shariff, completing a tightly timed top three.
