In a strong finish to the day’s action, Race 7 – The Kakanakote Plate Div I (Class III, 40–65) over 1400m brought the Mysore Winter Races 2025 Meeting 2nd Day (Wednesday, 26 Nov 2025, 05:00 PM) to an exhilarating close. Adding to the buzz around the Mysore race result 26 November, Sherouk, owned by Mr Deepak Kumar, delivered a polished and determined performance to take home top honours. Guided confidently by jockey L. Alex Rozario and trained by Pillay J S, the winner stopped the clock at 1:27.678, sealing a decisive and stylish triumph.
From the jump, Sherouk travelled smoothly in a handy position, conserving energy while keeping a close eye on the early pace. As the field swung into the final turn, Rozario asked for an effort—and Sherouk responded instantly. Using a sharp turn of foot, the filly surged past the frontrunners, holding a strong rhythm down the straight and leaving little room for challengers as he powered home.
Brave Trooper, ridden by A.R. Pradeep and trained by Yogesh R, made a spirited late bid but had to settle for second, clocking 1:28.039. Just a whisper behind came One Diamond, partnered by R. N. Darshan for trainer C D Monnappa, finishing third in 1:28.049, narrowly missing the runner-up spot in a tight conclusion.
With the final race wrapped up in style, the curtain closes on an eventful afternoon at Mysore.
