The 2nd race of the Calcutta Races Autumn Meeting, The Right Ahead Handicap, a Class V contest for horses rated 1-26 over 1600 metres, witnessed a commanding performance by Fortune Warrior (J: Gaurav Singh, T: B Rajender Reddy), owned by Mr Faiz Adam, on Sunday, 16th November 2025 at 1:30 PM. Stopping the clock at an impressive 1:42.207, Fortune Warrior marked a dominant display, thrilling the crowd with both composure and determination.
From the moment the gates opened, Fortune Warrior settled comfortably mid-field before producing a well-timed surge in the final 400 metres. Guided expertly by Gaurav Singh, the winner found clear running space along the rail, taking command in the home straight and asserting superiority with a decisive burst of speed to cross the line first.
The runner-up honours went to Made In Heaven (J: Antony Raj S., T: Rutherford Alford) in 1:42.326, who chased the leader closely but could not match the finishing acceleration. Lineupandcollect (J: Vishal N Bunde, T: Sabeel Shariff) claimed third in 1:42.389, rounding out a tightly contested top three.
With The Right Ahead Handicap concluded, anticipation now builds for the Arabian Prince Handicap at 2:00 PM, promising more tactical thrills and high-speed action in the afternoon lineup.
