The ninth day of the Delhi Meeting 2025–26, held on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, offered a pleasant afternoon of racing that kept local enthusiasts engaged throughout the six-race card.
The day began with The Romantic Hero Plate (Race 1, 1600m, 02:15 PM), where Jet Sukhoi, ridden by R N Manjhi and trained by Imdad Ali Khan, showed steady form to open the afternoon with a well-judged victory.
In The Celine Dion Plate (Race 2, 1400m, 02:45 PM), Cletus, guided by M B Qureshi for trainer S.M. Abbas, quickened nicely inside the final furlong to register a comfortable win.
The Taurian Plate (Div II) (Race 3, 1200m, 03:15 PM) saw Big Daddy, handled by Dhanu Singh Deora and trained by R Kumar, find his rhythm late and edge clear for a tidy success.
The upper division, The Taurian Plate (Div I) (Race 4, 1200m, 03:45 PM), produced one of the more competitive finishes of the day. Angelo, under G S Shekhawat for trainer Mohsin Khan, timed the run to perfection to prevail narrowly at the post.
In The Champion Sprinters Cup (Race 5, 1200m, 04:15 PM), Ashwa Tokyo, ridden by K Narender Kumar and trained by S. Nawab, displayed smart early speed to maintain control of the race and finish strongly.
The concluding event, The Desert Eagle Plate (Race 6, 1100m, 04:45 PM), went the way of Miss Irina, who ran fluently under Vishal for trainer R Kumar, wrapping up the afternoon on a positive note.
With the Delhi meeting completed, attention now turns to upcoming fixtures around the country. The next round of racing takes place on 16 November, with competitive cards scheduled at Hyderabad and Kolkata.
