The sixth race of the Bangalore Winter Meeting’s second day — The Bengaluru City Police Cup, a maiden contest for three-year-old horses run over 1400 metres — delivered a sparkling performance on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the Bangalore Turf Club. In an impressive show of speed and control, Valiant Stream (J: A. Sandesh) claimed a decisive victory for trainer S.S. Attaollahi, stopping the clock at 1:24.87. The bay colt, owned by Manjri Horse Breeders’ Farm Pvt Ltd & M/s DT Racing & Breeding LLP, announced his arrival in fine style with this maiden triumph.

Breaking alertly from the gates, Valiant Stream settled comfortably in mid-division through the opening stages. As the runners swung into the final turn, A. Sandesh made his move, steering the colt through an inside run before quickening smartly in the last furlong. The response was immediate — Valiant Stream surged ahead to leave his rivals chasing shadows, sealing the win with a lengthening stride that showcased both potential and polish.

Agrador (J: L. Alex Rozario, T: Darius R. Byramji) fought gamely to finish second, timing 1:25.59, while Jade Mountain (J: Vinod Shinde, T: V. Lokanath) followed in third at 1:26.57, maintaining a steady gallop to complete the frame.

With the applause for Valiant Stream’s impressive debut still echoing, anticipation now builds for the upcoming Gomos Plate, scheduled for 4:30 PM, as the Bangalore Winter Meeting continues its thrilling Sunday card.
