Breaking cleanly from the gates, Star Impact settled midfield before making a decisive move at the turn. Mukesh Kumar judged the pace beautifully, allowing his mount to find rhythm before unleashing a powerful acceleration down the straight. With every stride, the gelding drew clear of challengers, maintaining focus and momentum to secure a commanding finish — a performance that underscored both rider composure and training excellence.
The runner-up honours went to Storm Cloud (J: Avinash Paswan, T: Narendra Lagad), who clocked 1:09:450 after staying within striking range but failing to match the winner’s late surge. Close behind in third came Eastern Monarch (J: A. Sandesh, T: Sanjay Kolse), timing 1:09:512, displaying commendable consistency in a tightly contested finish for the placings.
