Emerging as the star of the afternoon, Starlight Serenade (J: Vivek G.) claimed a commanding maiden victory for trainer Prasanna Kumar P., racing in the silks of Mr Niraj Tyagi and Mr Vikas Sachdeva rep. Blazing Saddles (PF), Mr Ashok Ranpise, Mr D R Thacker rep. DT Racing & Breeders LLP, Mr Prasanna Kumar P, and Mr Rustam Mehta. The juvenile filly crossed the line in 0:58:202, announcing herself as one to watch for the future.
From the break, Starlight Serenade displayed early intent, settling into a fluent rhythm under a confident ride from jockey Vivek G. The filly quickened smartly approaching the final furlong and stretched clear of her rivals with an impressive turn of foot. Jodha, T: Behram Cama) took third in 0:58:559, producing a late bid but unable to match the winner’s acceleration in the closing stages.
