Morisu Ojo Adds Star Power to Inglis Digital November (Early) Online Sale

VRC Oaks contender Morisu Ojo headlines Inglis Digital November Sale
By | 01 Nov 2025 | Mumbai

There’s a sense of anticipation in the air this week as racing enthusiasts and investors turn their eyes toward the Inglis Digital November (Early) Online Sale. Among the many offerings, one stands out for its sheer rarity — a share in Morisu Ojo, the talented filly bound for Thursday’s $1 million Group 1 VRC Oaks at Flemington.

The Ciaron Maher-trained daughter of Maurice burst into prominence in September when she broke her maiden in emphatic fashion. Her next outing saw her bravely take on the boys in the Listed Super Impose Stakes, where she finished just 1.7 lengths behind Options, a $12 fancy for the G1 Victoria Derby. Most recently, she flashed late to make up ground in the G3 Ethereal Stakes, reaffirming her staying credentials ahead of her Oaks test.

Currently marked a $15 chance for the classic, Morisu Ojo represents not only an exciting racing proposition but also a rare investment opportunity. The share auction closes just 24 hours before she steps onto the big stage at Flemington — a timing that has the industry buzzing.

“New Ground” for Inglis Digital

“This is something quite extraordinary,” said Inglis Digital Business Manager Nick Melmeth. “We’ve sold shares in Melbourne Cup runners in the lead-up to the big race before, but never in an Oaks filly like this. It’s new territory and tremendously exciting. Ciaron Maher has a big opinion of Morisu Ojo, and to be able to buy in literally a day before she contests the Oaks is an incredible scenario.”

The racehorse shares section on Inglis Digital continues to thrive, with a string of success stories fueling its momentum — from Private Eye and Charm Stone to Benedetta and Light Infantry Man. Each sale seems to build on the last, adding confidence to what has become a trusted avenue for modern racehorse investment.
