The 5th race of Pune Meeting 2025, the P. Hadow Trophy, a Class III contest for Indian horses rated 40 to 66, lit up the turf on Friday, 24th October 2025. Covering 1200 meters at 03:30 PM, Bee Magical (Jockey: Neeraj Rawal, Trainer: Imtiaz A. Sait) delivered a commanding performance for owners Equus Racing & Mr Mukul Sonawala, crossing the finish line in a brilliant 1:08:521 to secure a decisive victory.

From the break, Bee Magical showed intent, settling just off the pace before unleashing a powerful turn of foot in the final 200 meters. Neeraj Rawal timed the challenge to perfection, guiding the winner through a tight passage along the rails and surging clear to deny any late threat, demonstrating both composure and explosive acceleration.

The runner-up honours went to Lord Eric (J: Antony Raj S., T: Dallas Todywalla), who finished strongly in 1:08:624, narrowly missing out on victory after a well-judged effort. Abhicandra (J: A. Sandesh, T: Sanjay Kolse) claimed third in 1:08:738, rounding off a tightly contested top three separated by mere fractions.

As the cheers faded, attention now turns to the Shamu Chavan Salver Div I, scheduled at 04:00 PM, promising more excitement and tactical intrigue for Pune racegoers.
