MYSORE, 16 October 2025 – The 2nd race of the day, The Original Vel Racing Trophy Div II, a Class III contest for horses rated 40 to 65 over 1200 meters, delivered a thrilling sprint at 2:30 PM on Thursday. Sea Of Adventure, under the confident handling of K. Sai Kiran and trained by Bipin V Salvi, stormed to victory, giving owners Mrs Namratha B Salvi a memorable triumph in 1:13.845.
From the start, Sea Of Adventure displayed alertness and early speed, settling in a stalking position before unleashing a decisive burst in the final furlong. Maintaining balance and composure, K. Sai Kiran timed the move perfectly, allowing the favourite to edge clear in the closing stages and cross the line with authority.
The runner-up honours went to Serai (J: Antony Raj S., T: Pillay J S), who kept close tabs on the leader throughout but had to settle for second in 1:14.288. Sheeba (J: Pavan, T: Feroz M Khan) made a late surge to claim third in 1:14.503, rounding off a competitive top-three finish separated by narrow margins.
Attention now shifts to the 3rd race, The Urs Kar Trophy Div I, scheduled for 3:00 PM, which promises to test both stamina and strategy as the day’s racing action continues.
