Under the dramatic skyline of the Circus Maximus, the 10th edition of the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) of Rome promises a spectacle that blends sport, culture, and sheer human emotion.
For Belgium’s Gilles Thomas, Germany’s Christian Kukuk, Denmark’s Andreas Schou, and the Netherlands’ Harrie Smolders, Rome is more than just a stop on the calendar—it’s a battleground. With just two stages remaining before the season finale in Riyadh, the title race has intensified, bringing riders and fans alike to the edge of their seats. Thomas leads with remarkable consistency, but his rivals are hot on his heels, making every jump crucial.
Amid the grandeur of Roman history, spectators will witness a tapestry of talent. Veteran champions like Edwina Tops-Alexander, Henrik von Eckermann, Martin Fuchs, and reigning LGCT Champion Max Kühner will go head-to-head with local heroes including Piergiorgio Bucci, Emanuele Gaudiano, and Giacomo Casadei.
