At 04:00 PM, the much-anticipated feature unfolded with Echoes Of Time (J: Antony Raj S., T: K. Pradeep Annaiah) delivering a standout victory for Sohna Stud Farm Pvt Ltd rep. by Mr Sultan Singh, stopping the clock at 1:35.168 to seize classic honours in decisive style.
From the break, the Guineas pace proved strong, with the leading contenders jostling for early control. Echoes Of Time, well-ridden by Antony Raj, settled confidently before unleashing a decisive turn of foot approaching the final furlong. The colt quickened smartly to put daylight between himself and the field, securing both the race and his growing reputation as a serious classic contender.
The runner-up position went to Money Bags (J: Suraj Narredu, T: Prasanna Kumar P.), who stayed on gamely to finish in 1:35.798, just over half a length behind the winner. Mahler (J: P. Trevor, T: S. S. Attaollahi) closed late to claim third in 1:36.320, rounding off a tightly contested top three that kept the grandstands buzzing until the finish line.
