The eighth day of the Pune Meeting 2025 at the Royal Western India Turf Club saw thrilling sprint action as Race 6, The Warsaw Pact Trophy DIV II, a Class IV contest for Indian horses rated 20 to 46, unfolded over 1100 metres at 03:10 PM on Sunday, 21st September 2025. Johnny Mac (3Y DKB C), owned by Mr K N Dhunjibhoy, Mr Z K Dhunjibhoy & Ms Anosha Meyers representing Five Stars Shipping Co Pvt Ltd, delivered a scintillating performance, crossing the line in 1:04:985 to claim a well-deserved victory.

Ridden by Vivek G. for trainer Hosidar Daji, Johnny Mac showcased a powerful turn of foot from the start, quickly asserting himself among the leaders. Positioned just off the pace in the early stages, the three-year-old surged decisively in the final 200 metres, demonstrating both composure and acceleration to pull clear of the competition and take the win with authority.

The runner-up spot went to Mojo (6Y CH M), under Ritesh Gochhi and trained by Faisal A. Abbas, after maintaining a strong challenge throughout. Lion King (9Y B G), ridden by Aditya Waydande for trainer Shazaan Shah, closed well to take third, rounding out a tightly contested top three.
