With a perfectly timed burst of speed, he overtook the leaders and maintained a strong gallop to the finish, demonstrating both stamina and a winning turn of foot that marked him out above the Class II field.
Chagall (5Y CH H), under S. Siddharth and trained by P. Shroff, finished a close second, keeping the winner under pressure in the final stages. Singer Sargent (6Y B G), ridden by C. Umesh for trainer Faisal A. Abbas, claimed third, rounding off a competitive top three.
