The 5th race of the day, The Sidapur Plate DIV I, a Class IV contest for horses rated 20 to 45, unfolded at Mysore Racecourse on Friday, 19 September 2025, at 4:30 PM over 1200 metres. In a commanding performance, Mark One (Jockey: Pavan, Trainer: Bobby M) galloped to victory in 1:11.480, delivering a poised and decisive display for owners M/s Jatin Laxmikant Trivedi & Nitin Himmatmal Jain.
From the start, Mark One positioned well, settling just off the early pace before unleashing a powerful turn of foot in the home stretch. Demonstrating tactical awareness and acceleration, the winner edged clear in the final 200 metres, leaving rivals chasing and claiming the race with authority.
Runner-up honours went to Smile Of Beauty (Jockey: Abhishek Mhatre, Trainer: S Dominic), who finished strongly in 1:11.820, maintaining pressure on the leader until the final strides. Third place was secured by Amazing Attraction (Jockey: Aleemuddin, Trainer: S Inayathulla) in 1:12.042, rounding out a tightly contested top three.
With The Sidapur Plate concluded, attention now turns to The Psychic Strength Plate, scheduled for 5:00 PM, promising more excitement and competitive finishes on the Monsoon Day 6 card.
