Pune race result 14 September took centre stage in the opening highlight of Sunday’s card at the Royal Western India Turf Club, where Race 2 — The Excellent Trophy, a Class I contest for horses rated 80 and upward (60 to 79 eligible) — unfolded over a sharp 1200 metres on 14th September 2025.
TURN AND BURN (4Y B G), partnered by N. S. Parmar and trained by M. K. Jadhav, produced a scintillating, gate-to-post performance to seize the trophy in 1:09:259. Owned by Mr Prashant Nagar of SKJ Thoroughbreds Pvt Ltd, the four-year-old displayed blistering early pace, control under pressure, and a polished finishing kick — securing a thoroughly deserved victory at Pune.
From the break, Turn and Burn settled prominently, keeping a keen eye on the early pace. Demonstrating a perfect blend of acceleration and timing, the winner surged in the final 200 metres, quickly drawing clear of the field and crossing the line with authority, leaving competitors chasing in vain.

IT’S MY TIME (6Y B G), under Aditya Waydande for trainer Dallas Todywalla, claimed third in 1:09:402, ensuring a tightly contested top three in this competitive Class I affair.
