PUNE MEETING 2025, SPECIAL RACE DAY – Saturday, 13th September 2025: The 6th race of the day, The Fourth Estate Trophy, a terms race for 3-year-old maiden Indian horses over 2000 meters, produced an electrifying finish as GOLDEN DANCER (J: A. Sandesh) powered to a decisive victory at 4:20 PM. Racing in the distinguished colours of Mr D R Thacker rep. DT Racing & Breeders LLP, Mr Mukul Sonawala, Mr Girish S. Mehta, and Mrs Rashmee A. Amersey rep. So Blest Trading Co. Pvt Ltd, the winner crossed the line in a time of 2:05:968, marking a notable triumph in her young career.

From the break, Golden Dancer settled in a stalking position, conserving energy while keeping an eye on the pace-setters. Approaching the final 400 meters, Sandesh asked for full acceleration, and the filly responded with a remarkable turn of foot, drawing clear under a strong drive to claim the trophy with authority. The tactical patience and finishing burst highlighted both the jockey’s skill and the trainer Dallas Todywalla’s meticulous preparation.

Runner-up honours went to SOLIDARITY (J: Vivek G., T: P. Shroff), who kept the winner within striking distance but could only finish 2:08:426, while DEXTERITY (J: Neeraj Rawal, T: P. Shroff) closed late to take third in 2:08:758. The top three were well-spaced, reflecting the competitive nature of the 3-year-old maiden division.
