The afternoon began in style as GENTLE GEORGE powered home in 1m 6.19s, guided confidently by jockey Alistair Rawlinson. The closing race provided a fitting finale to the Sandown card, with WHATSGOINGONMARVIN crossing the line in 2m 18.80s.
