Lady Invictus, carrying 59 kilos under Y.S. Srinath, finished a clear second for trainer M. Eshwer, two lengths behind the winner. Absolute Conqueror and Little Minister filled the minor placings, both finishing within a length of each other, while Mandolin, Droman Power, and Prince Corporate trailed behind in a closely packed finish.
For connections of Agera, the manner of victory suggested that he could be set for bigger challenges as the season progresses. Rozario’s composed ride and the gelding’s decisive acceleration were noted as the hallmarks of a horse in top form.
