This Class I contest for horses rated 81 and above (61-86 eligible) over 1600 metres saw Sativur (Jockey: Imran Chisty) produce a masterful performance for owners Mrs G Alford, M/s Cherie Sports Pvt Ltd, Mr Kevin Joseph Manuel, and Mr Balam Mohla, finishing strongly in 1:40.094 to take top honours at 2:45 PM.
Sativur settled calmly off the early pace, conserving energy while staying within striking distance of the leaders. As the field rounded the final bend, Chisty angled the horse to the outside, launching a decisive surge in the home straight. With perfect timing and a burst of stamina, Sativur pulled clear in the final meters, claiming the cup with authority.
Raffaello (J: A Ashhad Asbar, T: Aashay Doctor) pressed hard for second, finishing in 1:40.450, while Chopin (J: Akshay Kumar, T: Patrick Quinn) closed strongly to secure third in 1:40.849, making it a tightly contested podium.
