Money Fair Wins The Southern Command Gold Trophy
The Southern Command Gold Trophy, the fifth race of the afternoon at Pune Racecourse on Sunday, August 31st, 2025, went the way of Money Fair, who produced a polished performance to break his maiden in style.
The Terms race, restricted to maiden Indian horses three years old, was run over 1400 metres. Money Fair, partnered by jockey Prashant P. Dhebe for trainer B. Prithviraj, drew clear in the straight to win in a time of 1:26.623. The winner is owned by Mr. Amarjeet Singh Narula.
Charlie Brown, ridden by P. Trevor for trainer Imtiaz A. Sait, followed home in second place, timed at 1:26.880. Miracle Of Hanukah, guided by T. S. Jodha for trainer Aman Altaf Hussain, completed the frame in 1:27.734.
The performance of Money Fair was well received by connections and the afternoon crowd, marking him as a horse of promise for the season ahead.
