The penultimate race was the P. G. Johnson Stakes for two-year-old fillies over 1 1/16 miles on turf, offering $150,000. Time to Dream, ridden by Irad Ortiz, Jr. for Todd A. Pletcher, surged to victory, leaving Scratch It and Devilish Grin in second and third.

The day closed with a thrilling Maiden Special Weight race over 5 1/2 furlongs on turf, purse $80,000. Bella Knows, with Manuel Franco, Jr. aboard for trainer Brad H.
