Divine Intuition Clinches Pune’s Western India Trainers’ Association Trophy

The Western India Trainers’ Association Trophy, a class IV handicap for Indian horses aged five years and older, rated 20 to 46, was the second last race of the Pune Meeting 2025, Special Race Day.

Divine Intuition, expertly guided by jockey P. Trevor for trainer Aman Altaf Hussain, crossed the finish line first in a swift 0:58:250, demonstrating both pace and control over a competitive field. Owned by a consortium including Mr Ashok Ranpise, Mr Pranav Ranpise, Mr Akshay Dattatray Ranpise, Mr Vishwajeet Sood, Mr Waahiid Ali Khan rep. Sshaawn Horses and Sports Pvt Ltd, Mrs Ayesha A. Hussain, Mr Aziz A. Virani & Mr Aman Altaf Hussain, Divine Intuition’s victory was a testament to their combined effort.

Moonlight Kiss, ridden by Aditya Waydande for trainer Narendra Lagad, finished runner-up in 0:58:782, while Mojo, partnered by A. Sandesh for trainer Faisal A. Abbas, took third in 0:59:157.
