Unforgettable Star lit up the 23rd day of the Bangalore Summer Meeting on July 31, 2025, as the promising maiden horse blazed home in The Own Opinion Plate Div II, held over 1400 meters at the Bangalore Turf Club. In doing so, he provided a perfect curtain-raiser to the day’s racing card that culminates in the Bangalore Summer Million, the afternoon’s crowning jewel.

Contested exclusively by 3-year-old maidens, the race carried a purse of ₹11,00,000 and was run on a Good Going surface. With the penetrometer reading at 3.1 cm and false rails placed at an average width of 6.0 meters from the 1600m marker to the winning post, the stage was perfectly set for a sharp finish.

Carrying the iconic silks of Villoo Poonawalla Racing & Breeding Pvt Ltd, represented by Dr. Cyrus S. Poonawalla and Mr. Adar C. Poonawalla, Unforgettable Star broke his maiden in style. He had to fend off a strong challenge from Goddess of War, trained by Prasanna Kumar and ridden with intent by P. Trevor, who clocked a close 1:25.98. Lots of Luck, under K. Sai Kiran for trainer Warren Singh, completed the frame with a timing of 1:26.27.
