In doing so, he provided a perfect curtain-raiser to the day’s racing card that culminates in the Bangalore Summer Million, the afternoon’s crowning jewel.
Contested exclusively by 3-year-old maidens, the race carried a purse of ₹11,00,000 and was run on a Good Going surface. With the penetrometer reading at 3.1 cm and false rails placed at an average width of 6.0 meters from the 1600m marker to the winning post, the stage was perfectly set for a sharp finish.

He had to fend off a strong challenge from Goddess of War, trained by Prasanna Kumar and ridden with intent by P. Trevor, who clocked a close 1:25.98. Lots of Luck, under K. Sai Kiran for trainer Warren Singh, completed the frame with a timing of 1:26.27.
