The fifth race on Day 17 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting at Bangalore Turf Club was the Hooves of Steel Million Div I. This 1400-meter terms race was open to three-year-old maiden horses and carried a prize of ₹11,00,000. The race began at 3:30 pm.
Maana, trained by Darius R. Byramji and ridden by Antony Raj S., secured a strong win with a finishing time of 1:26.91. Owned by Ameeta Mehra, Capt Jamshed J. Appoo, and So Blest Trading Co. Pvt Ltd, Maana put up an impressive performance.
Darrington, trained by Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Arvind Kumar N, finished second in 1:27.13. Konkrah, trained by Arjun Mangalorkar and partnered by A. Sandesh, came in third, clocking 1:27.16.
Following this result, attention turned to the main event of the afternoon, The Coromandel Gromor Bangalore Million, carrying a prize purse of ₹26,15,000 and scheduled at 4:00 pm.
