Racing continued at Bangalore Turf Club on Day 17 of the Bangalore Summer Meeting, with the Mysore Cup. The 1400-meter handicap race, for horses rated 20 to 45, was run at 3:00 pm and carried a winners’ prize of ₹5,10,000.
Star Of India, trained by S. Padmanabhan and ridden by Neeraj Rawal, won the race with a strong run to stop the clock at 1:27.17. The winner is owned by Ameeta Mehra, Chaduranga Kanthraj Urs, Anjan Kumar Rangaraj, and P. J. Vazifdar.
Your Unforgettable, trained by S. S. Attaollahi and ridden by P. Trevor, finished second with a time of 1:27.37.
Third place went to Hyperdrive, trained by Irfan Ghatala and ridden by Pavan, who completed the race in 1:27.39.
After the Mysore Cup, focus shifted to the next event, The Hooves of Steel Million Div I, a 1200-meter race scheduled for 3:30 pm.
