The penultimate contest of Day 15 at the Bangalore Summer Meeting brought another gripping spectacle as the field lined up for The Skyline Plate, a 1400-meter handicap run at 4:30 PM with a prize purse of ₹4,50,000. The race, tightly contested from start to finish, concluded in a thrilling photo-finish.
Star Serenade emerged as the standout, surging ahead in the final strides to seal victory in dramatic fashion in 1:29.27. Ridden with poise by Darshan R. N. and trained by Rajesh Narredu, the winner raced in the silks of So Blest Trading Co. Pvt Ltd, along with Mr. Teja Gollapudi, Mr. Daulat Chhabria, and Mr. Karan Kashinath.
Putting up a strong challenge was N R I Jetpower, partnered by Rayan Ahmed R. for trainer Md Sajid Qu’shi, who finished a close second after battling it out right up to the wire in 1:29.39.
The third spot went to Chinky Pinky, guided by Shivam under the training of M. Rajendra Singh, adding a solid performance to cap off the trifecta in 1:29.82.
With just one race left in the day’s card, the energy at the Bangalore Turf Club remains high. The stage is now set for the concluding event — The Basque Plate Div I, as the sun begins to set on an action-packed race day.
