The action continued on Day 6 of the Mysore Summer Meeting 2025 with The Kinski Plate, a 1400-meter contest for horses rated 00 to 25, offering a prize purse of ₹3,75,000. The race went off at 3:00 PM and delivered a sharp finish, with Rich Strike emerging as the decisive winner in a closely contested battle.

Trained by Ashwin Rao S and ridden capably by Shamaz Shareef, Rich Strike seized control in the final stages of the race to cross the line in 1:26.506, delivering a satisfying victory for owners M/s. K.Rakesh Raje Urs & P. Packiasamy. The 5-year-old mare showed composure and a strong turn of foot in the straight to keep rivals at bay.

Lead Singer, also from the stable of Ashwin Rao S, was ridden by Koshi Kumar and pushed the eventual winner right to the post but had to settle for second, clocking 1:26.700. The stable’s strong showing reinforced Ashwin Rao’s dominant hold over this race.

Taking third was Free Spirited, trained by Rakesh and partnered by Rajesh K., who closed well but could not challenge the top two, finishing in 1:26.972. The closely grouped timings reflect the competitive nature of the race, keeping racegoers and connections on edge until the finish.

With two races concluded on the card, the focus now turns to The Republican Plate, as the day’s proceedings at Mysore continue with more action and excitement. Stay tuned for further updates from the summer meeting.
